The Roast Chicken baguette presents tender chicken breast complemented by fresh vegetables and herb mayo—a classic that never disappoints.
For those seeking something lighter or just a quick bite, the Petite Baguette section serves equally delicious options, like the Smoked Salmon with rich cream cheese and capers, ideal for a refreshing lunch. Each baguette is not only packed with flavor but also showcases a delightful balance between crunchy and soft textures, a point that many customers, including 'P F' and 'Jimmy H', have noted in their glowing reviews.
If you're adventurous, don't overlook the Rice Paper Rolls. Ranging from Prawn to Teriyaki Chicken, these rolls offer a light and healthy alternative with every bite bursting with freshness. Each roll is crafted with an attention to detail that shines through in their vibrant flavors.
B3 Cafe stands out in its commitment to service. With fast and friendly staff, your meal is crafted quickly, so you won’t feel the midday slump. Customers rave about the efficiency and warmth of the team, enhancing the overall experience of dining in the cafe. However, as with any establishment, there's room for improvement, and some reviews hint at the occasional inconsistency—perhaps with the texture of fried eggplant or a missed opportunity on seasoning.
In essence, B3 Cafe is more than just a sandwich stop; it’s a community hub for lunches that energize and delight. Whether you're a city worker in need of a quick refuel or simply a foodie craving fresh flavors, this cafe promises a memorable culinary escape in Melbourne's bustling CBD. So next time you find yourself near Centre Place, make sure to swing by B3 Cafe for a meal that is both delicious and easy on the wallet!
“ Wow never realised this place existed until a friend recommended it. Truly great value! I paid only $8 for a chicken schnitzel baguette. Got it toasted and didn’t have to wait a very long time even though it was very busy at lunch. It tasted great and had good texture with the mix of crunchy schnitzel and soft baguette. I shall be back! ”
“ It's the absolute best value lunch you can get if you are a city worker around this end of town. $6 (as of June 2022) for a fresh baguette and they will toast it for you too and it tastes great ! You won't even get a post lunch food coma so you can stay awake for that pesky 2.30 zoom meeting... ”
“ Best baguettes in Melbourne. Fantastic selection of fresh rolls with great fillings. If you want them heated up just ask, the staff are always friendly & willing to help. ”
“ B3 Cafe is a popular sandwich place for lunch in Flinders lane. The prices are relatively affordable compared to most places. They have a variety of flavours and decent portion sizes. I’ve had the eggplant and chicken schnitzel flavours, and enjoyed them both! Service is fast and you can get them toasted. ”
“ "It has been delicious every time I've had it, but why is the fried eggplant this time so tough to chew? Is it because it was overcooked or reheated multiple times? ”
“ This is a small place that closes at 4 PM on weekdays and does not open on weekends. So for someone like me who doesn't work in the city having a Baguette from here was a rare occasion. But whenever I do, I get a baguette from here, I enjoy it thoroughly. The size of the baguettes is huge. They have 2 sizes, a big one and a really big one costing $5 and $7 resp. I love the chicken schnitzel Baguette from here which has a lot of chicken in it and tastes good. They sell quite a lot of baguettes everyday so you can expect them to be made fresh everyday. I have recommended this place to many of my friends who have enjoyed the baguettes from here. This place is great value for money. ”
“ Baguettes are large, fresh and cheap. I had the Peri Peri Chicken on this occasion, make sure you get it toasted for that extra crunch. Staff are wonderful. Highly recommended, can get busy with a queue due to the corporate crowd. ”
